“Behind every great fortune lies a great crime” – Honore de Balzac
A subtle and intimate interrogation of the value of art, Value In Use is the latest offering from Vena Cava Productions, in collaboration with students of the Queensland Academy of Creative Industries (QACI).

Taking place in the transformed QACI Studio, participants will become live-art buyers, in an exquisitely personal game of supply and demand. Individual audience members will dine out on a menu of solo performer items over the main course of 50 minutes.

Value In Use will capitalise on the worth of young people as storytellers, and empower its audience to critique their own perception of art as commerce, through personal confessions, startling revelations, and amusing pieces of hoodwinkery.

Each show has a capacity of 15 participants, with two performances per evening.
